Full-Time Crop Performance Specialist
K-State Northwest Research-Extension Center is searching for a Crop Performance Specialist. This position plans and organizes the crop performance tests for the Northwest and Southwest Research Extension Centers to insure scientifically valid data and timeliness in reporting results. Implements all phases of field studies including land preparation, weed control, fertilization, planting, pest management, field notes on crop growth and development, and harvesting. Coordinates with the statewide director of crop performance testing in the Agronomy Department. Manages the cash flow and budget fee income to maintain or replace equipment, pay wages for seasonal employees, and purchases supplies to carry out the mission of the project. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment. Salary $34,071 – $57,921
